WELCOME TO THE RESOURCE CENTER

Mental health emergencies are equally life-threatening as any other medical emergency. Such crises usually involve the risk of suicide or an attempt at suicide. Additionally, mental health emergencies could also include situations where a person poses a threat to someone else's safety. In case of such emergencies, calling 911 is imperative. While making the call, mention that it is a mental health crisis and provide details about the diagnosis, if known, and describe the nature of the emergency.
