Amethyst Holistic Health is named after amethyst gemstones which are commonly known to have healing properties for the mind and body. Amethysts are often associated with peace, clarity of the mind, wisdom, as well as protection and strength from negativity. Therefore, our goal is to provide patients with a safe haven where they can feel seen and heard by their provider. At Amethyst Holistic Health, we use a holistic approach to manage mental health symptoms and empower our patients to overcome the challenges that they face in their daily lives.

Brea Washington
Dual Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care & Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Brea Washington is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP). Brea graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with her Bachelor of Science in nursing and minors in psychology and public health. She decided to continue her education after working several years at the local hospital as a bedside nurse. She earned her Masters of Science in nursing from South University with a specialization as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
